Easy Healthy Apple Cider Vinegar Drink Recipe

Apple cider vinegar is one of the most talked-about items when it comes to health, so you may have noticed certain apple cider beverages being sold in various health food restaurants and stores. With all the many kinds of health benefits apple cider vinegar offers, its growth in popularity makes a lot of sense. Apple cider vinegar drinks can be hard to find sometimes, as well as pricey, and drinking apple cider straight is not often very agreeable. After having the beverage several times, I decided to make my own version, and share it with you!

Ingredients:

  • 1 full 8-ounce glass of clean water
  • 1 tea spoon of organic raw unfiltered apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tea spoons of organic raw honey
  • ¼ teaspoon of organic cinnamon (optional)

Directions:

Place the apple cider vinegar, honey, and cinnamon into the 8-ounce glass of water. Stir well with a spoon until honey has dissolved in water. Sip away!

The recipe above is measured to my own personal liking, and can be adjusted according to your own preferences in taste. Some people like to add a little more honey, and some even add fruit juice or lemon to their mixture. I find the cinnamon adds a nice balance of flavor as well.

A good reason to mix apple cider vinegar and natural raw honey in a drink together is because when these ingredients are mixed, they are said to help alkalinize the body.
