Having a strong core means having a strong body. Your core includes areas of your body from the shoulders to the pelvic floor, and almost everything we do involves using the core. To have good balance, flexibility, and stability, building up your core is key. Here are 4 other major reasons to strengthen your body’s core.

How to Construct Your Life like a Hindu Temple

In India, temples are constructed with intention and obvious care utilizing the Science of Dwelling known as Vastu Shastra. The way the temples are built is meant to both reflect and inspire connection to the One Divine Source of creation as it also manifests within each person. By silently emitting a frequency and sacred geometry of balanced practical life merged with liberation, the Hindu temple is the perfect example of how to construct your life in alignment with universal balance.

The Beauty of Yogic Body Care

When I first started practicing yoga, I was driven by both spiritual and emotional factors, but I also wasn’t getting any younger and felt the need to do what I could to maintain my physical body.

I had no idea how deep the practices would take me! Not only would they offer the realization that I was more than the physical, and that the physical body was a temple, they would also purify, rejuvenate and beautify this sacred vessel.

From this came the desire to care deeply for this temple my soul had been given and to make this devotion part of my daily yoga routine.

The buzz of flies and mosquitoes tried to lure me away from the inward turning of my mind. But concentration was working.

I taught sophomore supplemental courses during my graduate program because it halved my tuition. I taught Kindergartners in Seoul for a year in the afternoons, right on the heels of teaching executives in the mornings.

4 Ayurvedic Methods To Heal Sore Muscles

Intense workouts, heavy lifting, and manual labor can all lead to sore muscles. Reaching into the kitchen cabinet or bending over to pick something off the floor can provoke the pain. The discomfort has caused the simplest task to become unbearable. Ibuprofen may be your immediate response. While it may provide temporary relief, relying on pain medications time and time again can have adverse side effects causing more issues.

Kundalini Yoga for a Healthy Sex Life

The ancient practice of kundalini yoga was designed to assist one in recognizing, cultivating and utilizing the life force essence stored in the base of the spine known as kundalini. When directed properly and with consciousness this vital energy can be used not only solo, to boost one's health and spiritual evolution, but between couples to enhance connection as explored in Kundalini Yoga in Relationships.
