Wellness Wednesday 114: Revolved Bird of Paradise/ Parivrtta Svarga Dvijasana
Foundation & General Alignment:
Start in a standing position.
Lift one leg and wrap arm between lifted leg.
Reach other arm around back and grab ahold of hand.
Lift leg and stretch leg out in front of you.
Shoulders are back and away from ears.
Chest is open and pressing forward.
Hips are opening outward.
Standing leg is strong and foot is facing forward.
Belly is pulling inward.
Back is slightly curved.
Standing leg is bent.
Can keep extended leg bent for better balance.
