Weekly Forecast: December 25 - 30, 2016
12/25 ~ Venus (socialize) ~trine~ Jupiter (optimism & travel):
This is usually a pleasant energy, although short lived. This is a good time to enjoy some kind of social activity. No pressure - just easy, laid-back fun. It can make you prone to laziness or excess, but only if you're already prone to it. Otherwise, if you are typically busy and constantly on the go, this energy gives you permission to kick back a little and release the usual pressures to produce. Take some time out to "smell the roses," or at least reflect on all that you have accomplished and give your Self due credit for coming this far. This is a good time to travel, go on a vacation or take a short trip. This energy tends to bring forth earned blessings. Take a moment to give thanks to the powers that be which brought you to this point!
12/25 ~ Venus (relationships, love & money) ~sextile~ Uranus (clarity & inspiration):
This energy, thanks to Uranus, activates a certain spark of electricity in the air. New relationships will have an unusual aspect to them and old ones can break-to-realign in a positive, even fun way with this energy. No monotonous routine, humdrum people or boring collaborations with this one. Use it to access your unique genius and deep well of creativity and then share, if you can, with other like-hearted Souls. Take advantage of this energy to tap into areas you may not have realized were available to you before. Keep it light and upbeat; socialize and enjoy the experience of different people or new activities. Keep in mind, however, any relationships begun this week may not be based on qualities needed for long term survival. It is more a time to enjoy the people and experiences that pass through at this time and accept this gift!
12/25 ~ Venus (relationships) ~sextile~ Saturn (responsibility):
This energy has to do with your obligations within the context of relationships. They are not difficult obligations (in this case) but more emphasis is placed on enjoying serving those you love. This is also what I would call the "keep it real" energy, regarding relationships. This energy makes you want to really sit down and define your terms within your relationships (which I am a total advocate of). It's really hard to grow to the next level when each person is not clear on what the other expects. Of course, this starts with you knowing what you want/don't want and what you are willing to compromise about so you can articulate that clearly.
12/26 ~ Jupiter (Education & Expansion) ~sextile~ Uranus (Evolution & Liberation):

This is another potent and relatively rare combo (every 12-years) that brings expansion & liberation into your life, meaning nothing will ever be the same again. These two, in their own unique ways, like to shake things up and push you out of any rut you may be in at this time. Neither of them do well with maintaining the status quo; Jupiter wants to expand in new ways and tell a new story, while Uranus wants to break out of the old and step into the new in some way. Naturally, this becomes most obvious in your relationships (personal or professional) where things have grown stagnant. If you have obligations that have run their course, try to be proactive on your own behalf by initiating the necessary changes consciously, lest you get blindsided. Though it may "seem" sudden, it really has been building over time and with these two, you are reminded that the old way simply will not work anymore. I've often reminded folks that 'when you change, everyone around you has to change or go away' - it's a natural law. The truth is that this kind of integration can be positive in that you may not know how or what to change, but the Universe does and it will provide the catalyst one way or another. Your job is not to throw the baby out with the bath water, though. There are some solid aspects of your Truth and belief system (Jupiter) which also have a natural evolution (Uranus) that takes your life to the next level. Be as loving with your Self and others as you possibly can as you work through what you know and what you're learning, stay open & receptive to new ideas and trust your intuition along the way. It's time to do things differently, your Truth & Story have evolved and changed over 12-years and now it is time to breathe some fresh air into the story you're telling.
12/26 ~ Mercury (expression) ~sextile~ Neptune (dreams):
This is a great energy for imagination, consciousness and intuition, however, keeping a good filter to distinguish between your own perceptions and what you are picking up from those around you will be crucial to success. Your mind is on a different channel than usual, and you may have to rely on other senses, like your feelings or intuitive hunches. You may be very perceptive, picking up on the thoughts & feelings of others, which if/when you are clear (and your filters are working), will yield some surprising revelations about where their consciousness is at this time (for better or worse) and reflect an aspect of your own you may not have been aware of. Try to avoid work that requires any attention to detail. Allow your creativity to flow freely without censoring what comes through you at this time. You can organize it later. This is the energy to explore, create and free-flow!
12/27 ~ Sun (confidence) ~sextile~ Mars (action):
This is an excellent time for action! You may have some good, positive energy brewing that, if it does not find an outlet, could turn negative or destructive. So DO something - get moving - take action! Work on accomplishing some long sought after goals, physical, spiritual, emotional, mental or material. The Universe supports action at this time. Call in help from other like-minded souls - reach out - share this energy and see where it leads. During this kind of energy, you could secure a stronger position and if you have to fight for something, you will do so more effectively with this energetic support.
12/28 ~ Mercury (communication & self-expression) ~conjunct~ Sun (core essential Self):
This energy will compel you to express yourself on many levels. Communication will be a focus, just make sure it is reciprocated. You will have access to some powerful energy that can (and probably will) make quite an impression on others (if you need to). This is a good time to travel if possible too. However, if not physically, than mentally and certainly within your own area, you will take in more information per square inch than usual. Pay attention! You may even gain the much deserved recognition from others that you have worked so hard for.
12/28 ~ Mercury (expression) ~sextile~ Mars (passion):
This is a healthy selfish energy (aka self-preservation). Do not hold back this week. If you have a big dream or serious goal you have been working toward, then this is the time that may attract the assistance you need from the Universe. This is definitely a "work" energy, however, it brings with it the caveat that it is best if you work alone on something important to you. No one else is (or ever will be) as dedicated to your goal as YOU will be, nor should you expect them to be. You are now connected to the extra energy it takes to push your goals to the next level, bringing you a sense of accomplishment while outlining the next tasks to be done. Opportunities present themselves all the time, all you have to do is be ready!! If you are given the opportunity to make a presentation, go for it! Your clarity, energy & enthusiasm will be unmatched and that's what people respond to. Don't choose this time to be "shy" or doubt that you're ready - you are definitely ready ... otherwise you wouldn't be here!! One of my favorite sayings is: "At the moment of commitment, the Universe conspires to assist you!" It's time to decide if you are committed and how truly committed you are, to your own success.
12/30 ~ Sun (core essential Self) ~sextile~ Neptune (vision & imagination):
This energy activates your ability to dissolve the ego (momentarily) and allow your SoulSelf to shine through! Your Spiritual center, base or practice comes up - how is it supporting you? If you've gotten away from your practice, this energy will make it easier to connect to your Spirit, your intuition and the vision for your life's purpose, at this time. You may find where your contribution is most valued, when you step outside your Self and see how others' needs are important. Find a need and fill it ... in your own deliciously unique way, as you will be more giving & compassionate, naturally under this influence. Your physical energy may be low as a result of Neptune channeling the Sun's Source Energy inwardly to re-charge your Spirit. Otherwise, it could be projections of all kinds, yours and other people's as well. Best to spend some intentional solitude, preferably in nature if/when/where possible.
