Vegan Cheese Making with Shea Cope

Whether you're thinking about transitioning to a vegan diet or just have issues with dairy, this class may be for you. We will briefly discuss the properties of dairy cheese and how they can be recreated in vegan cheese, and then I teach you how to make 2-3 kinds of vegan cheese (depending on time) that you can easily make again at home! And of course, we will be sampling the cheese we make! vegan and wheat-free ** All of our classes are demonstration style lead by the instructor listed above.

DIY Dinner: Chili Lime Tofu

In this hands-on program, participants will learn how to prepare chili lime tofu, in addition to zucchini salad with lemon tahini dressing, and spicy orange-black beans with quinoa. After all three dishes are ready, we'll sit down to eat this awesome shared meal. Ages 12 and up. Recipes to take home and beverages for purchase.
