The Hummus Challenge: A Hummus Making Class

Have you fallen in love with Hummus? Did you know hummus is easy to make, healthy and vegan? Have you always wanted to make your own? Chef Merriam will share a taste of Lebanon with you. During this 2 hour cooking workshop you will Cook, Laugh and Learn. After a short overview of the Art of Lebanese cooking and culture you will learn how to create Traditional Lebanese Hummus. The workshop will begin with Lebanese Hospitality - As our guest, you will be offered Chai (Tea) or Cow-way (Coffee) and refreshments Chef Merriam will demonstrate how to make Hummus while each student follows along and makes their own Hummus. Once your Hummus is made -- The Contest begins. The judges will do a blind taste test of each student's Hummus. The Winner will receive A Ribbon, a Free Copy of Chef Merriam's Cookbook and DIY Hummus Bundle Kit. Each Student will take home a container of their own Hummus, and a printed recipe.
