Denver Food Allergy Conference for Teens and Their Parents

Teens with food allergies and their parents are invited to an afternoon of educational sessions led by experts from Children’s Hospital Colorado, Saturday, September 22, at the hospital’s Anschutz Medical Campus in Aurora. This free event is co-hosted by Food Allergy Research & Education (FARE) and Children’s Hospital Colorado and take place from 1 to 4:30 p.m. The event features educational sessions covering a range of topics, including preparing for college, navigating social situations and dining out. The conference will include separate tracks for teens and parents, as well sessions for parents and teens together. Stay tuned for more information about sessions as the conference gets closer. Additional Information: There is no cost to attend this event. Space is limited and advanced registration by September 20 is required The event is open to teens ages 13 to 19 with food allergies and their parents/guardians. Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Free parking is available in the South Parking Garage, just south of the main entrance to the hospital.
