Weekly Forecast: November 4 – 10, 2018
11/6 ~ Sun (authentic Self) ~trine~ Neptune (intuition):
This energy triggers your idealistic, altruistic inclinations, but remember that help has to be invited and charity begins at home. However, if you have the energy to share & to spare, then dedicate your Self to something greater than you. Choose a cause to support or help those less fortunate for the sheer pleasure of giving. If your energy is low at this time, it is better directed inward. If you can, take some extra time in intentional solitude, praying, meditating and connecting to Spirit this week, you will be rewarded with deep revelations & mystical discoveries within you. It’s a great time to do divinations, ritual or ceremony if you’re into that. Your intuition is heightened also, so pay attention to any ‘messages’ that come through or to you. Try to use this energy to reflect on where you are and dream a little about where you want to be, mentally, spiritually and physically in 6-months to a year from now.
11/6 ~ North Node Enters Cancer (until May 2020):
This affects everyone, but especially those with North Node in Cancer/Capricorn/Aries/Libra. I round it off to be a 20-year cycle that directs the Life Path and moves in 5-year increments. So in general, we’ve all navigated the last cycle as follows: 2000-2002 = Cancer North Node – this is the current cycle Initiating anew and so juicy to co-create with and our frame of reference is the final tests we just came through in the last 5-years since North Node was in Libra 2013-2016; our MidPoint was when North Node was in Capricorn 2009-2011; our first test was when North Node was in Aries 2004-2006. Each time the North Node is in one of these Signs, we are changing something in our fundamentals of balancing home vs. work and self vs. other and change is the name of the game with eclipses. This whole cycle, if we let Cancer lead as it is now, has been about creating a sense of kinship & community support that truly nourishes you, rather than drains you, and it’s time to renew those definitions, as well as the literal connections with others and what that means to you. At home, work or in your social community, how much nutrient do you gain from touching base with your Tribe and how much of dealing with them is actually draining & deeply one-sided or imbalanced?
Imbalances are going to become obvious and the eclipses are here to support the necessary changes we need to stabilize a New Direction & Path, one that looks at all life as ‘part of the family’ and ‘part of the team’ while still remaining independent & self-sufficient. What fed you, on deeper levels, in the last 5-10-15-20 years has evolved. As we age, we do not digest the same way. So it goes with energy as well. We have just completed a Path from 2000 to now. That time period was a pivotal shift in the US “Direction & Path” for sure, as it is a Cancer country, but as individuals around the world, we are all learning how to co-exist as a ‘global family’. That said, we can’t save the world while our own house falls apart, so turn inward this week to set some new intentions around what truly feeds & nourishes you on a Soul level, and commit to radical new ways of doing your self-care & replenishment so that you are stronger for whatever life wants to throw your way. That’s on an individual level, but on a collective level, it is time to love, nurture & protect life, not exclude, prejudge & ignore life. Eclipses accompany the Nodal shift so you can expect the changes to start bubbling over in those departments of life (and your chart).
11/6 ~ Uranus Re-Enters Aries (until 3.6.2019):
This is the last 4-months that Uranus will be in Aries for another 84-years! So, on one hand, starting at Aries, we can call it a universal re-set of a new 84-year cycle of evolution & awakening on a collective level. This is a slow-moving, outer planet that affects generations, however, for the last 8-years it has been dwelling in Aries *awakening* the same departments mentioned above for the incoming eclipses – Aries/Libra/Cancer/Capricorn – so we’ve actually been preparing for the very changes that the eclipses will probably facilitate. On some level, we’re all realizing how independence is tied to freedom. However much independence you can handle equals how much freedom you can handle. Use this last few months to strip the blinders off and look at your life from a radically new perspective. Think of the last several years as awakening the ‘real you’ and now the next 8-years in Taurus, you’ll get to build on it, beautify it & make it last forever!

A person needs at intervals to separate from family and companions and go to new places. One must go without familiars in order to be open to influences, open to change.

Scorpio (Oct-Nov) is my favorite time of the year for a number of reasons, not the least of which is that we can simultaneously complete and initiate whole new aspects of our being. I have tracked it for years and it is by far the BEST time for consciously planting the seeds (your ideas) that you want to sprout by Taurus (April-May), which is only 6 months. When you think about it, that is not long at all to create a new experience or manifest a dream or express a newly discovered piece of your soul. In astrology, the so-called ‘tough’ angles may be hard to get through, however, they also propel us to the next level and open up new possibilities. Now is no different. We are living at a pivotal time in Earth’s history, and through some very challenging planetary alignments. However, this is a time to celebrate the possibility that the seeds we plant collectively *now* ~ will blossom in Divine Time & Order.
It’s not so much that we’re afraid of change
or so in love with the old ways, but
it’s that place in between that we fear.
We are at this “in-between” place, also referred to as the *Sweet Spot* – that very thin line between seed and new life, where the seed breaks through into new existence. This is a special time during this natural cycle to contribute & co-create. This is the most potent time of the year, and a good time to ask what you deeply desire and what are you willing to sacrifice to have that desire fulfilled.

~ skepticism … for critical thinking?
~ fear … for love?
~ doubt … for faith?
~ poverty consciousness … for abundance & wealth consciousness?
~ groundless low self-esteem … for knowing who you are?
~ false pride … for true confidence?
Scorpio activates some area of life (and your chart) that is unique for you, and it is those areas of your life where you can sink to the depths and soar to the heights. It’s where your power lies, and how you choose use your power is your responsibility, as well as your own free will and choice. In the meantime, how does anything come into being? Life, whether a living organism who calls Earth home or a project or idea that you’ve nurtured from concept to reality, they both require the visible and invisible to bring in to existence. There is the work you do to contribute to the healthy development of whatever you create (Scorpio is the energy of creation) and then you have to step back and allow Spirit to breathe lifeforce energy into it. Whether creating another human, or an expression of your soul, you are always a co-creator in the process, you are a very necessary part of the equation, but you are not the Source. The void is where the unseen action is, seeds germinate in the darkness, away from prying eyes and meddling. Whatever you create, whether within you or around you, is your responsibility to protect (your creation). I personally like the custom of waiting 3-months into a pregnancy before announcing it to family and friends, I think it should be applied across the board, to all new life.
Scorpio, ruled by Pluto, the planet of death, rebirth and transformation suggests that pain is part of the process of purification and certainly of ‘birthing’. We know women experience pain when giving birth, but what do we leave that experience with? (most of the time, with few obvious exceptions) but a GIFT!! What do you think a caterpillar *feels* as it wiggles out of the cocoon? or any baby lifeform bursting through the container it arrives in? In time out of time, the struggle to live is something all creatures do instinctively. Connect to your will to Live ~ Thrive ~ Prosper ~ and maximize the moments in your every day life. Life is not a blockbuster film, or the Grammy awards, no brass band is going to play for your every accomplishment, you have to *connect* ~ in this moment ~ to Your Bliss ~ Your Joy ~ Your Happiness ~ Your Peace within! Within your own being, within your own heart, within your own sacred space and most importantly within as many *moments* as you can consciously count, starting with now, the present moment.
The opposite of Scorpio is Taurus, which rules GRATITUDE, among other things. We must in every moment, count our many blessings. I highly recommend referring back to 6-months ago and 1-year ago. I bet you will discover seeds you planted which have come to fruition and those which need more nurturing to become mature enough to be released.
In my own personal review, it occurred to me that when I remember being “most effective” – it was often because I did NOT think as much or as long before acting, but acted on instinct and in the moment. As we get older, we are more conscious of what can go wrong, and that youthful sense of invincibility, while in dire need of some temperance, actually serves an amazing purpose: More often than not ~ things go RIGHT! Reflect on your own stats, I bet you find that things work out more often than they DON’T. And even when things went wrong, none of it killed me, but gave me another clue about my Self as well as more clarity on my true desires.
11/8 ~ SCORPIO Gate of Power:
Today we invite the invisible help of our Ancestors by creating a welcoming space for communion & co-creation to occur with those you’ve cultivated a *relationship* with. During this time of year, the veils are thinnest and you have much more access to the Invisible Realms so what do you have to lose by … Clarifying your desire … Owning what you are willing to sacrifice … then Setting an intention … Creating an inviting space … then Trusting Spirit and Connecting to the *FEELING* of your request(s) being fulfilled. Simple yet powerful exercise that won’t take long at all. The whole first week of November is dedicated to the Ancestors throughout cultures around the world. It’s a beautiful time to take time out to acknowledge those who led to you being here, grieve any/all losses and activate your Inner Phoenix, who can rise out of the ashes of all that has crumbled and start a new life.
11/8 – Jupiter in SCORPIO *trines* North Node in CANCER:
I don’t usually talk about the North Node in my forecast, but this is a pivotal shift that is activating all this other really delicious support that we can tune into if we are aware. This is super-rare activation and aligned at the 29* degree mark which is also potent. This alignment supports the Path & Direction that nourishes your Heart & Soul, your family as well as the family of humanity. Trines imply ease & grace, so if we are authentic, allow Soul to lead and Heart to sign off on all choices, then this too can initiate a NEW 20-year cycle of support & protection.
11/8 – Jupiter Enters SAGITTARIUS:
Here is yet another reason to be optimistic, seeing Mother Earth as perfect, whole & complete. She knows how to heal & balance herself but we are learning how to do our part better. This year is pivotal for your personal and professional growth & expansion. With the other planets help strip us of the non-essential and blast out old paradigms, Jupiter points to the area of your life where you need to grow, evolve & broaden your thinking. The areas of your life being activated at this time are undergoing a revolutionary transformation. Always keep in mind Jupiter represents a 12-year cycle, that moves in 3-year increments – so think back 12 years ago (Nov 2006-Dec 2007): where were you? what were you trying to accomplish? who were you? what were your priorities? what primary belief drove you (back then)? You may find that whatever did not “click” then, may be revisited now and miraculously supported. Or you may have experienced a 12-year cycle that is clearly completed and finished now. Release, rejoice and move forward. Additional revelations at this time will confirm once and for all that what used to be true for you is simply no longer true for who you have become today and conversely, what was not true for you prior to this time in your life, you may find to resonate very deeply now.

11/8 – Uranus in ARIES *squares* North Node in CANCER:
Again, I don’t usually discuss this one so deeply, but how could I not. Uranus is only there every 84-years and it aligns as North Node does its thing every 20-years. Everything is pointing to choosing a new direction that better supports yourself, your independence & your immediate family & community. This is super-rare and aligned at the 29* degree mark which is also potent for that initiation, which is already underway. This alignment supports Self-Mastery & Liberation as you work it out with completely new ways of Containing, Nurturing & Protecting your (all) life, at this time.
11/9 ~ Venus Rx (feminine & receiving) ~trine~ Mars (masculine & giving):
Venus rules your values & priorities where relationships with love & money are concerned. It is your inner Sacred Feminine that innately knows how to co-create with nature and what to cultivate & nurture to full development. Mars rules your desire nature and your inner Sacred Masculine, which is responsible for maintaining your personal boundaries, getting your ideas into the world and negotiating on your own behalf. When you are channeling both through you in a balanced way, what you create and how you move through the world becomes a beautiful dance or, at least, a much more interesting story. The trine is a blessing of ease & grace, an easy-going energy that paves the way for balance & reciprocity and encourages independence within the context of relationships. Communication is usually smooth at this time and exchanges can be mutually beneficial. Any relationships started under this influence have a good chance at success whether personal or professional.
