What is a Soul Retrieval? This question was posed to a recent Meetup group I attended while we sat around round tables eating delicious raw food cuisine. I offered my perspective of Soul Retrieval in relation to the work I have been doing over the past few years using The Emotion Code, a technique developed through Dr. Bradley Nelson to detect and release trapped emotions.
There is a theme running through my latest writings of tapping into life-force, the Cosmic kundalini energy within our beings to a greater degree. As energies are amping up on the planet and the process of evolution is taking each one of us deeper into the core of the Self we are being asked to harness our life-force and make the most out of our time here. In this moment I am wearing a bracelet made with Sugilite crystals and a few other supportive stones. The intention of this piece is to experience a “higher love”—and since placing it on my wrist I am noticing that my thoughts are definitely lifted up. It is as though the “lower octaves” of thought and feeling are gently side-stepped in order to allow a full engagement with “what else is possible” in both my mind and in my heart.
Gemini is the sign of the twins. It is a very mentally oriented sign which can often manifest as a sort of “dual nature.” Communication is a strong suit for the natural Gemini and ruled by Mercury the messenger we find Gemini governing largely the throat chakra as well as standing at the helm of right and left brain integration (or disintegration).
As we step into a new year we are steeped in the consciousness of new frequencies, new energy patterns and the massive intentional waves generated by the collective to “create anew” - for this is what Capricorn inspires. It is no wonder “new year's resolutions” come in with the influence of this sign. Ruled by Saturn, Capricorn birth stones of garnet and ruby are all about grounding one into core power and strength for the long haul.
With striated, blue Kyanite in one hand and magical, colorful Labradorite in the other, I can feel my energy body aligning. I literally can. These two powerful stones have been two of my best friends over the years. I still wear Labradorite daily as one who reminds me of the magical nature of my being. Kyanite
I saw it in a crystal shop in Pune, India, and I couldn't put it down. It was calling to me. Something inside urged me to listen and I held it next to my navel center as I sorted through the array of stone carved bowls, silk scarves and other delicate trinkets. Its color was warm, comforting and powerful. I felt stronger and more able to see what would unfold for me from there after the soul-transformative experience I had just engaged in for the previous four months. This Citrine had to come home with me, there was no doubt.
Accidentally letting the smooth piece of Malachite drop from my hand onto the hard cement floor, I saw a corner fly off. This was before I was aware of the 2 rating this stone has on the Mohs scale – which basically means it is one of the softest stones there is (Diamonds rate a 10 – the hardest). This is when it came into my awareness that you could powder this stone easily in a mortar and pestle, as the Egyptians did, who often used this stone as eye make up to ward off evil.
The earth is a treasure chest full of magical tools for healing and alignment. The very ground we walk on is made up of crystals and metals that are vibratory in nature and affect our very being. By learning the properties and vibratory qualities of different stones and metals we can partner with them to adjust our own personal vibration, align with the pulse of the earth, heal and live more authentically.
