Long Live the Art of Letter Writing

Growing up in a small-town in Vermont, I was always well acquainted with our local postman. My parents gave him lottery tickets every year around the holidays, and he was responsible for delivering all sorts of news to our big family. Sometimes, I’d run out to the mailbox after school to find just catalogues and bills, and other days (very occasionally) I’d find a hand-written letter from Grammy, or a birthday invitation from a friend. Do you remember having that feeling of excitement when you opened the mailbox to receive something personalized, just for you?

Perhaps there’s a donation-based class near you. Karmic or karma yoga is based from the Bhagavad Gita, which is a sacred Sanskrit Hindu text. There are three key paths to realization, and karmic yoga is one of them.

These festivals are based on sustainability, transformation, and a way for healers to gather and healing to take place in a pleasant atmosphere, where the good vibes happen whether you’re in a gardening class or front and center by the biggest stage.

The rise in environmental literacy programs coincides with the increasing need for innovative solutions and affordable models through which to apply them. Accordingly, programs have increasingly begun to offer paid and unpaid internships, jobs, and volunteer opportunities that expose today’s youth to the environmental stressors our world is facing, while at the same time teaching them the tools needed to develop these innovative solutions.

Actually, that’s a pretty accurate statement. Having friends isn’t just fun; according to some studies, it can potentially increase the fullness and length of your life.
