Alexandria White is a teacher, a writer, a natural health enthusiast, a backyard urban gardener, and a life-long student of yoga, dance and martial arts. She is also an idealist, a dreamer, a lover of humanity and a lover of all the other creatures that exist on this planet. Alexandria teaches English composition, literature and cultural studies at several community colleges throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. She studied creative writing at San Francisco State University, which included a year abroad in the United Kingdom. She later attended University Of California, Santa Cruz and earned an M.A. in Literature. She loves to travel and has been to places like Brazil, France, Germany, Spain and Italy; she recently visited Cuba. She resides in Oakland with her life-partner, son and their dog Mocha. They will be expecting a new addition to the family in September 2016.
