The interesting twist on the normally self-oriented Aries New Moon is that it forms a perfect square angle with the New Moon Solar Eclipse in Capricorn (January 5, 2019).

With that in mind, let’s take a look at the upcoming Mercury retrograde period beginning on March 5th.
The March 6 New Moon in Pisces falls on a special day—it is the first day that Uranus, planet of radical innovation, will be in the stable, earthy, creative sign of Taurus, where it will remain until 2026. Uranus was last in Taurus from 1934 to 1942, and briefly from May 15 to November 6, 2018. Uranus in Taurus will alter the normal patterns in financial markets and cause fluctuating values of material goods, precious metals, gems, and real estate.

Finally, this week we have the official end of this Mercury retrograde cycle. Last week we had Mercury leaving Sagittarius where it was with Sun and Jupiter and bringing its distractions and disruptions. When Mercury went retrograde into Scorpio it was the first sign of breaking up the distraction cycle that this retrogression period was all about. Now, with it finally going direct again, we have the official end of this cycle.
