“The moment a child is born, the mother is also born. She never existed before. The woman existed, but the mother, never. A mother is something absolutely new.”
Regain strength, flexibility and stamina as you bond with your baby/toddler in a supportive and welcoming environment. Tone and lengthen your muscles, strengthen your posture, relax and rejuvenate, relieve tension in the upper body, and safely rebuild core strength.
Tailored for mothers who have recently given birth to caregivers looking to socialize their little ones - this class is appropriate for all levels of yoga experience, including beginners. This is a time to come together with other mothers/caregivers to bond with your baby/toddler and sneak in a little yoga too.
Enjoy special time with your baby/toddler, either holding your baby in your arms, leaning against your leg, on your front, sitting in your lap or resting on a blanket. Please bring a blanket for your baby to sit on and a few favorite toys. Special time is made for babies/toddlers to enjoy their own yoga and bond with mom/caregivers through touch, movement and massage. This class is designed for infants four weeks – age two.
We invite you to feed, soothe, and change your baby as needed during class.

Join Chloe + her 14-month son Bronson for weekly STORYTIME YOGA!
One week after registering for 200-hour Prenatal yoga teacher training at Mount Madonna Center in Santa Cruz under Mama Goddess Hannah Muse, Chloe discovered she was 8 weeks pregnant.
Chloé is a genuine, passionate, and dynamic instructor of yoga and barre. Captain of her D1 lacrosse team, Chloé has always had a drive and passion for health and fitness. She shifted gears to become an instructor after working an around-the-clock marketing job in Manhattan, where fitness took too much of a backseat. Her first experience “on the mat” was while attending prep school in New England, and she became a devoted student of yoga after college.
In July 2011, Chloé earned her 200-hour certification in Paris, France (YogaWorks). There she learned an Iyengar and Ashtanga style of yoga under Amy Lafond. Her yoga philosophy seeks to make her students in tune with their bodies through alignment and steady practice, while finding balance on and off of the mat. She loves the “Aha!” moments in class.
Chloé has taught over 7000 class hours. She has assisted Eion Finn of Blissology at the Northwest Yoga Conference in 2017. Honored as Instructor of the Year in 2012 at Seattle University.
Chloe is certified in Yoga for Athletes, Aerial Yoga, Prenatal yoga, Yin private study and Restorative Yoga. She has also attended yoga teacher trainings and/or workshops under Baron Baptiste (Power Yoga) , Dice Iida-Klein (Vinyasa + Acro), Edward Clark (Tripsichore), Claudine Lafond (Vinyasa + Acro), Kia Miller (Kundalini), Felicia Tomasko (Yin + Ayurveda), Ed Mitra Shapiro (Yoga Nidra), Maty Ezraty (Ashtanga), Ana Forrest (Forrest Yoga), Kathyrn Budig (vinyasa), Alanna Kaivalya (mythology and mantra) and Giselle Mari (Jivamukti).
Chloé is also owner of Nutritional Gangster, nutrition consultant and plant-based chef. She studied at the School of Integrative Nutrition (State University of New York – Purchase) and is certified by the American Association of Drugless Practitioners. When she is not teaching, she enjoys exploring the Durango area with her family and bulldog, especially visiting the many local farmer’s markets, creating various new “healthier” foods while writing for her nutrition blog, and traveling with her company Nutritional Gangster for Yoga, Hiking + Clean Eating Retreats.
