You could say her yoga journey began in the dirt, crawling on fours and connecting with the Earth. The path of self-discovery begins from our first breath, does it not? She was introduced to the formal practice of Yoga in 2007. She completed her 200-Hour training with a foundation in Hatha and Vinyasa and a 300-Hour training rooted in Tantric philosophy. In 2016 she expanded her Vedic studies and completed a 600-Hour Ayurvedic Health Counselor certification at the California College of Ayurveda. Gaby teaches public classes and workshops in Northern California and leads retreats globally. She writes for wellness publications and seeks to share knowledge of self-healing from various disciplines, cultures and practices. Gaby sees yoga as the journey of unveiling one’s true self. By inviting subtle awareness and love-inspired intention into each movement, yoga becomes a cathartic and empowering practice of realization and connection. Her classes are rooted in an alignment-Vinyasa, with an emphasis on self-exploration and soulful expression. Her sequences are dynamic, energetic and unexpected while using the power of the breath to move through each asana in one fluid dance. Centered on intention, incorporating mindfulness and drawing inspiration from the natural cycles of world, Gaby’s style encourages discovery and positive transformation of the body, mind and spirit. Off the mat, you can find Gaby out in Mother Nature hiking or climbing rocks, in her kitchen witching up an herbal remedy, or off in an unknown corner of the world sipping tea with a stranger.
