Cooking with Loi: Plant Based, Vegan, Lenten

Yes, there is Greek vegan plant-based cuisine – in fact, there’s quite a lot of it since much of the Greek Orthodox Christian calendar year involves fasting from meat, dairy, and other animal by-products for religious reasons. Join us for a sumptuous vegan Greek feast to delight the eyes and ignite the senses. You will never look at vegan food quite the same way again. Dishes will include Papoutsakia (vegetable stuffed eggplant topped with potato puree), Gigantes (braised giant beans) with tomato and spinach, and Halva (sweet semolina dessert with cinnamon). Reserve your spot now! * Full meal is included with this class * Arrival time is 1:00 pm, the class will commence at 1:30 pm.
