Nurturing Parenting Program Facilitator Training

The Nurturing Parenting Programs are family based programs with a proven track record of preventing the recurrance of child abuse and neglect. The philosophy of Nurturing Parenting emphasizes the importance of raising children in a warm, trusting and caring enviornment. It is founded on the belief that children who are cared for develop the capacity to trust, care and respect themselves, others and thier environment. In this three-day training we will cover the structure and values of this program, develop the skills and tools for using the Nurturing Program, and review model fidelity when implementing in groups, home visits, and parent education classes. The cost of this training is $300 per person (no refunds)
