Join our monthly Gardening Class! This month's topic is:
Garden Journaling
A garden journal is your own personal diary of your garden’s journey. Keeping a garden journal helps you learn about your plants and soil as you go and gives you a written record of your garden layouts, plans, successes and failures. Similarly, many people find that writing their personal thoughts and feelings down in a journal helps them along their breast cancer journey. Some survivors also use journals to reflect upon milestones and to mentor other survivors. Join us as we discuss the psychological and spiritual benefits of personal journaling and learn how to keep a garden journal.
To reserve your place, we request a $5 reservation fee. Scholarships are available; for more information please contact Forge at 205-838-6159.
Hosted by Forge Breast Cancer Survivor Center, Alabama Cooperative Extension System, and Birmingham Botanical Gardens; Forge's monthly classes are for anyone who has ever been diagnosed with breast cancer, as well as their loved ones and the healthcare professionals that serve them.
