Ayurvedic Self Care Rituals - with Meryll Montano
OBJECTIVE:
Self care is more accessible and affordable than we think. According to Ayurveda, dinacharya, or daily rituals soothe the body, calm the mind, and heighten the awareness of our senses. In this workshop, you will learn and practice the top 5 Ayurvedic self-care rituals that help with managing anxiety, stress, body pain, and imbalanced digestion. This is also a hands on participatory event. Each participant will make a few Ayurvedic self - care products and take them home after the workshop

Ayurveda Self Care Rituals is presented by Meryl Montano.Meryl has a passion for introducing health seekers to the wisdom of Ayurveda Medicine and connecting people to the abundant energy source in plant- based whole foods, herbs, and spices. She believes that everyone deserves to live a happy, healthy life but it requires commitment and participation. Staying focused on your health goals can be challenging, that is why Meryl offers a variety of services at different price ranges including but not limited to -- individualized consultations, self- care workshops, educational grocery store tours, personal training, group cleanses, private and group cooking classes, and donation based yoga.
ABOUT THE SOUTH PASADENA PAIN RELIEF CENTER
The South Pasadena Pain Relief Center is a chiropractic facility that is established by Dr. Michael Howell. We specialize in providing non-surgical and noninvasive spinal decompression treatments of serious lower back, leg and neck pain, combined with the use of our state of the art DRT Triton Spinal Decompression machine. We strive to provide you relief, energy and stability in a supportive, informative and compassionate environment.
About the Summer of Wellness Workshops
The Summer of Wellness Workshops is inspired by the#movethecommunityseries, -events to promote and elevate the works of local movers, shakers, and creators from Los Angeles.Organized by Dr. Howell and his wife Rachel Cerdenio of If Good is Hungry, these events are sometimes FREE, or DONATION based and takes place at the South Pasadena Pain Relief Center. We believe that access to affordable healthcare and wellness resources is a right and the #movethecommunityseries is a way to give back to the the community. Without movement, physical, emotional, or mental, there is no change.

Can I get a refund?
There will be NO REFUNDS OR LAST MINUTE CHANGES after each purchase due to the preparation required to plan this event. No exceptions. Thank you for your understanding.
How do I get there?
From the 710, 110 or the 210 Freeways, go towards South Pasadena. Once there look for the BIG LOTS store on the corner of Fremont and Huntington Drive.
Where do I park? Is parking free?
There is plenty of FREE parking in the lot between the BIG LOTS and the dry cleaners. There is also free street parking in the front of our building 1445 Huntington Drive. After you park, walk towards the Fair Oaks Street sign. You will see 1445 which is our on your right. It is the smaller white building next to a taller one. We are located on the second floor in Suite 240. You may use the stairs or elevator to go up to the second floor.
What can I bring into the event?
Bring a light sweater as the room may get chilly due to the AC. Also, bring a notebook, writing tools, and lots and lots of questions
