Amazing Sprouts Garden Adventures: Bee Bash

Tuesday, July 17, 9:30–11am Pollinators are un-bee-leavable creatures and do so much to keep our plants growing. In this program, participants will learn all about the role of bees as pollinators, visit Allen Centennial Garden’s hive, and see some pollinators up close. The Amazing Sprouts is a program for 4-5 year olds and their adult caregivers designed to expose children to the natural world through hands-on gardening activities. This program will run rain or shine (with the exception of severe weather), please come dressed for the weather (raincoats are recommended, no umbrellas for the kids please), be sure to apply sunscreen to your child, and bring a water bottle. *Please note that we will be focusing on bees in this class, children will not be touching the bees but will be closely observing them. Most local bees do not sting, but please make staff aware of any allergies. Amazing Sprouts is an adult/child program for 4-5 year olds.
