Yoga gave Renee her life back after nothing else could. For a decade, she suffered from chronic pain and autoimmune disease, and all the "stuff" that comes with. Even though she worked as a critical care RN and had access to the best doctors and medicines, she struggled to find relief. Finally, she could target the root cause of disease instead of only treating the symptoms, and began to experience true healing through yoga.
Renee studied yoga, Reiki, and meditation for one year in India and Nepal, then returned to the US to train as a Yoga Therapist. She combines her personal experience, background in Western medicine, and passion for yogic tools and helping others into a rare teaching style. Renee empowers individuals in their self-healing and guides them on this journey in a supportive environment. She creates unique yoga practices for each individual, respecting the influences that emotion, personality, and lifestyle choices have on the physical body. She believes yoga is about YOU, and goes beyond spandex pants and cool Instagram poses. In fact, she finds that most clients benefit from routines that reduce stress in the mind, incorporate healthy movement in the body, and hold great reverence for the breath.

Renee hopes to share the gift of yoga and the power of self-healing.
