Erik M. Roth

Based in Beaverton, Oregon area, Erik is a certified Shamanic Astrologer from the Shamanic Astrology Mystery School (SAMS), where he is also serves as the Managing Director.  He created his own astrological practice in 2010 and has been studying Shamanic Astrology with Daniel Giamario and Cayelin Castell since 2004, graduating in 2011. Erik is actively involved in teaching classes, giving lectures (in California and Oregon), webinars and readings and co-taught the in-person 5-day Shamanic Timeline course. In addition, he is heavily involved in the Shamanic Astrology online courses with SAMS as an administrator and instructor.

Erik was drawn into Shamanic Astrology because of its depth in speaking on a soul-level, without judgment and aligned with the nature of who we are as human beings.  The language of Shamanic Astrology shows the totality of ourselves, linking the sky above to the land below to the center of our being.  It can show us our roles and purpose in the life journey, providing us with an understanding of how we can honor ourselves through initiations. 

Shamanic Astrology is never-ending learning process and one he's passionate to follow.  This work fills Erik with wonder as he learns more and more about the spiral of life.   His hope is that this sense of wonder and insight carries over to others who seek to discover who they are with ways to authentically navigate their lives.

The challenge of walking my path or fully participating in my journey.

What is unique to you about your work?

The insights that come through me from reading the astrology.

How do you guide clients into their own healing/inner freedom? 

By sharing knowledge of who they are so they can be empowered to thrive in their life.  By helping them realize their emerging storyline.

What tools have you found least/most effective in your work? 

The least effective tool in astrology is reading from only a technical level about the planets.  The most effective is translating the astrological language into words that most can understand, including the sharing of stories, symbols and analogies.  It also helps to share about our relationships to the stars and planets.
