Carissa Stanz

Carissa grew up in the suburbs of the East Bay Area. Migrating south, she attended San Diego State University where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Television, Film, and News Media. An avid photographer and traveler at heart, she drove across the country to experience what life was like on the East Coast. Settling in Western North Carolina, her appreciation of produce, nature, and healthy living grew. Through writing and photography she has become an advocate for the environment.
